Hi
We're a team of volunteers, all with direct experience of disability offering a new information and signposting service for disabled people in Sheffield. Here are just a few of the calls we've helped with recently

“I’m a wheelchair user, can you help me find rented accommodation
in the city centre?”

“I would like to make contact with other disabled writers
which I hope could give me some encouragement and support
to continue writing.”

“I’m an advocate partnering a young woman who wants to
go on holiday- are there any grants available that will help
with the cost?”

“My son’s employer is not making reasonable adjustments
for his hearing impairment, where can we find out what his
rights are?”

“How much medication can I take abroad?”

The Pacesetters number is 0114 253 6745 (from 10am to 3pm Monday to Wednesday ) Give us a call if you need any information and we'll do our best to help. We'd also like to hear from you if you're interested in volunteering with us - there's lots to do - helping write factsheets, attending events, answering enquiries, developing website information etc
