Hels 16-07-2005, 13:10 Well i'm not going to tell you what i'm doing tonight - I don't want lots of total strangers knowing whether i'm in or out. BTW I've got a really enthusiastic guard dog, so don't even attempt to enter the house when i'm not there - otherwise you may find yourself covered in saliva when he licks you :hihi: I'll tell you tomorrow (if I can remember) whether I had a good time or not  youwhatref 16-07-2005, 13:13 Originally posted by slimsid2000 What am I doing tonight - absolutely sod all. Spent it with friends at a BBQ, had a few drinks, good company and lots of laughs. Mind you, the best laugh was when I came home and logged onto the SF to see some brainless idiot claim all Sheffielders are thick - pmsl Ow-Zone 18-07-2005, 01:12 Belated posting, but I had a top weekend so I shall share..... Down to Birmingham on Friday night and out for a nice meal with the parents, other family and friends. Drove to the outskirts of London early Saturday morning, got the tube to the west end. Picked up tickets for the matinee performance at 'Her Majety's'. Went for a wander through trafalgar square etc. Had a top late lunch in a nice bar. Back to the theatre for the half 2 showing of Phantom. Discover we have fantatic seats. A very close friend of mine is playing the lead (Christine) and brought the house down with an exquisite performance. I'm not normally a fan of musicals but this show was incredible. Went backstage to say hello; met all the rest of the cast etc. swift glass of bubbly then the actors had to prepare for the evening show. We go for a spin on the london eye, allowing the old man to point out all the interesting bits. Another bite to eat; another couple of tubes; up the motorway and we're home. Today I turned 25 and have had a fab weekend to celebrate it. I spent tonight in the pub, surrounded by good friends. Best weekend in a long time. O   spyro2000 18-07-2005, 01:15 Where in Birmingham did you go? redrobbo 18-07-2005, 01:24 Well we got to a screening of War of The Worlds. The special effects are breath taking - I was squirming in my seat! But, the story line wasn't that great, and I eventually began comparing the film to the disappointing AI, before finally becoming bored. Sunday BBQ was great fun, as was the forum meet. So, ended the weekend on a high note! hj dary 18-07-2005, 05:55 The BBQ was pants. Burnt everything even the salad. Came in and watched some T.V. and then had a look on net for ten mins and off to bed. Spent all day Sunday lying around the house and did nowt. Rock on |
