Having been an avid target shooter quite a few years ago....(ecclesfield Rifle and pistol Club), i was wondering if it is still there. I have been working out of town for quite a while, now circumstances have changed and i will be back in sheffield soon. I would like to get back into shooting, but i'm not sure if there are any clubs left.
If anyone has info on this topic, it would be greatly appreciated.

i dont know myself and if no-one can asnwer on here, then going down to the gunshop (hardy's gunsmiths i think) on ecclesall road might help. hes a knowledgable guy with both shot and air guns.

The nearest i know of is in MAnsfield.

DRPC has the best facilities within a reasonable driving distance of Sheffield. Covered 25m firing points for gallery rifle. Outdoor 50m gallery rifle range and up to 200 yards for fullbore rifle. And a great clubhouse.
