Hi, Just to let everyone know Affinity is relocating and expanding.
We have taken a new premises on Arundel Gate in the centre
The new venue can offer much more than the current one, It is on 2 floors so we can offer a classy bar upstaires open 7 days a week and downstaires will be a new nightclub open Thursday through to Sunday. We are starting from scratch with this venue which means we can build it how we want. We have been granted a 6 oclock license for the venue which gives us a lot more flexibility. There will be a dance floor on both levels offering a choice in music. Building work has already started and we aim to open in about 6 weeks time (give or take a few days) Affinity in Campo lane will soon be shutting in the next few weeks as we transfer some of the fixtures and fittings to the new venue.
The venue is also free of brewery tie which means the drink prices will be good with lots of promotions.
We hope to see you all there and will keep you informed of the progress.
Best Wishes
Affinity :)

i think that really depends on customer feedback, the aim is for one floor to be more commercial dance and pop stuff and the other floor to be more funky house etc but I am open to suggestions

I've PM'd you; might even stop by for a chat tonight.

Mulberry is a decent venue, from what I noticed last time I looked in, it will have to undergo a complete refit! It looks really small from outside, but as far as I remember it goes a long way back and has/had some kind of raised podium/stage in the upstairs.:loopy:

I'd say it looks the same size in terms of floor area; don't forget it is two floors, on a site with a narrow frontage which goes back to the alleyway behind, and it has a second entrance (for the upstairs) on the back street, still emblazoned with the old Mulberry branding. Shame that the main street frontage is so small and poky looking, but one good thing is that smokers will be in the dry outside the front door, under the covered walkway.

Hi Chris 101, The Mulberry is actually bigger, its 5000 square feet in total which is alot bigger, each floor is about the size affinity is now and there are 2 floors.
cheers
Tony
