A friend has asked my to build a website for her, I have only just finished my own which is now hosted, however she says she wants to use bravenet as it's free and they have templates has anyone had any experiences using bravenet? As I have never used this service before I don't have to know html do i?

Also I have looked on Bravenet site and is it free to host a website and register a domain with them or is it like

example: mycats/bravenet.co.uk.

Any info regarding this much appreciated.

ive only tried the guest books and counters with bravenet im afraid

You can bet your bottom dollar that it's not free ;)
The url will probably say Bravenet in it (at best) or you might have to place an ad on every page of the website :o

I set up a website with Bravenet last year.

It was only when I asked someone else to view it, that I found out that it was pop-up paradise ~ I have pop-up blockers which blocked everything, so didn't realise how bad it actually was.

In other words, it's not really free because somewhere you must agree to have all these pop-ups.

I don't recommend Bravenet!
