Can anyone give me some much needed advice?? I love watching streaming videos on the internet, but I always seem to have a problem with the viewing. For some reason, the film always jerks and stops and starts. I'm no computer tech so I don't want to fiddle with settings unless I know what I doing. Is it anything to do with: modem speed settings, cookies or proxys?? I've tried the offical site, but no-one gives clear answers there.

I've got a 1MB connection and it's still the same as it was with a 512KB connection :? What i do is let the stream finish and then press play again. It plays at normal speed then.
PS....

Go into the setting and configure the buffer..takes a bit longer..
go to (in Media player window)
tools > options>performance.
you can select the connection speed if needs be. Then below that add a custom buffer setting..see if that works
