What does fostering involve?

having a bit of ferret knowledge time for them accomadation making sure there ok and well ect. We would provide sack of food till re homed and pay vets bills if needed.

I have a spare rabbit hutch, but don't know much about them, other than may friend had a ferret when we were kids and i used to play with him

go for it speeddemon - I have two of my own and foster. I am on the lookout for another hutch so I can offer another foster space too. Ferrets are very rewarding animals and Jedi would help you out with no end of knowledge!

Do you have some that need fostering now? I'm not particularly worried about caring for them, i have cats, dogs, a parrot and have been a rabbit breeder so I think I'd be ok unless there's anything very specific that they need. I'm just more concerned that the dogs might scare a ferret. Do you need to keep them in pairs? The hutch i have is not massive, but has housed a couple of mini lops in the past, or a young french lop. I don't have a run for it, but I'm sure the kids would happily put the kitten harness on and go for a walk lol

long as they have food and water and exercise they will be ok. Some live better in pairs and you get some that like being on there own but love companionship with humans. Like i said give us a call and arrange to come over and see what you think. We have dogs and the ferrets here dont bother them

mmm tough one as i have both :) chucks are great but then so are ferrets.... nope couldnt choose. Youll have to decide how great the desire is for tasty eggs in the morning :)

tried ringing other day no answer

we are now re open, we ended up with just seven kits and there mum the guy managed to rehome the older ones. we therefore are no longer desperate for fosters.
