i'm new to the bike and hate using the road,

I live in hillsborough and dont know of any, i'm sure there must be some good routes

I'm just trying to find the same sort of info!

There looks like a good cycle ride once you get out to oughtibridge which is traffic free!
If you are looking to 'commute' into Sheffield there are routes from S6 that are cycle routes along Penistone Road and along Langsett.
