I like it. I wouldn't say its the reatest Italian ever, but I'd say its good for they money. Quite rustic. I like thebusy atmosphere too, its quite a small place, and can get crowded and noisy, but I have usually been for larger 'do's' so that's not a bad thing really.

And you can bring your own wine (but only wine) which is good.

I'm not a massive fan, last time I went there I had a clazoni and it wasn't cooked properly... Could've been a bad day like... Different type of place but I'd go to Antibos if I was in that area

this is a small restaurant with a super atmosphere ,the food is cooked by the best italian chef in Sheffield---have a great night

Yeah- i really enjoyed it the last time i was there- had a fabulous steak :D

been there for a few work dos and it has always been decent. Bit cramped maybe but always enjoyed it and you can take your own wine

A lot of places associate people bringing their own beer/cider with louts who just want to go and get drunk and cause trouble on the premises.

mad. having perhaps been guilty of being a "lout" on occasions, the drink of choice is often a bottle or 2 of wine - some scandalous 2 for £4-£5 deals around. would they think they same if i came in and drank it straight from the bottle? :hihi:

I`m a fussy food snob and I quite liked it.

I went for my birthday and we all felt rushed. It wasn't even busy or anything however they still managed to make us feel uncomfy for taking up a table!

i love it the steaks are great the specials always good, i did always like the elder of the three daughters who work there, i read in the star/telegraph website that she now has her own place somewhere south of here- anyone know any more?

I haven't been for a couple of years, but the food was pretty good, atmosphere likewise. Desserts a bit disappointing, but as I say, it was a couple of years ago and I'd happily give it another go!

It's great, we go here often. The atmosphere is really nice - a pleasant buzz of conversation but not intrusive although the tables are close together, nice low lighting and candles, decent simple good value food, house wine is OK too. Can't fault it really.

If you want a really swish expensive italian for a special occasion with fancy decor and furniture and loads of space then this isn't it. But usually you'll just want something like BB's.

I love BB's - been going for at least 10 years. Food is good value and really friendly service. Go now!!!

Whats The Prices Like There?

£4.50 - £6.50 for starters and about £7.50 - £18 for a main.

Been twice. Both times with other couples. No-one was impressed either time. Maybe they just had two "off" days.

bbs is fantastic i,ve been here lots of accasions and fell in love with the place very intimate with a lovely atmosphere,i recomend the king prawn starter lush!if its your birthday they giv you a complimentory flaming sambuco.go now you wont regret it unless you are one of these ppl who arenever satisfied with anything ;-)

Reasonable quality for the price. It's no Nonna's but the food is fine and the fact it's BYOB makes for a cheap night out. I do find it a bit cramped which is irritating but it's OK.

Another thing in BB's favour. I find Nonna's quite unfriendly and a bit posey and snobby - like they are doing you a favour allowing you in.

I love it. The staff are friendly and always up for a laugh and a joke, the food is lovely and it's so relaxed.
It gets busy and even though you do get noisy groups it still feels very intimate.
