i have a company called keepmoat renovating my council house...........i was told the work would take 8 weeks from start to finish..............they started in jan this year and they are still here doing finishing touches.............in the begining of the work they left me without heating,a bath,and my cooker.............what are they getting paid for? all i ever see them doing is standing gas bagging and drinking tea.

I'm in Shirecliffe and keepmoat are currently modernising my house. Got to say that I think there doing a great job and shouldnt be too much longer before its all finished. Obviously you're going to have a few glitches which we have but nothing thats not going to get sorted out. Only been in ours about 3/4 weeks as well.

We had the letter informing us of the planned improvements to our council maisonette, my mother has already had it done, well, almost, they have a few more bits to do, the company is Connaught though, so, different to the one you two mentioned, we should be getting it done next year, but, I am not holding my breath, blue doesn't suit me.

from what I can see, it takes four blokes to build a wall - one to do the bricking and the other three to stand and watch!
