Completly agree Jon/Bedhead watched it at the pictures and is was the best film of last year by far for me, although i doubt whether they can repeat that in the second film, but looking forward to finding out :thumbsup:

Watched Saw for the first time last weekend at my friends house. Wasn't really in the mood to watch a horror flick, but the story drew me in. Great ending!

I found the first film really frightening; I don't think I'll be viewing the sequel! :o

Quick side note...


The script used for Saw 2 has been lying around Hollywood since Seven came out. No-one wanted to touch it! Then, last year, Saw comes out, and someone goes "Hey, if we dig up that dodgy script and add the Jigsaw killer to it, we can make Saw 2" Grren light...production starts...fast track film making!

Yet another great film is about to be sullied by a terrible sequel! If the script wasn't good enough to be made before, why should it be anything better now!

Reported in Total Film last year, also reported on Dark Horizons and Filmforce IGN around the same time. It was a simple "quick...fast track something to cash in" idea, thus my lack of enthusiasm on the subject.
