i`ll be there with a few of our lot and 1 or 2 rescues and we`ll be bringing leaflets with info ect

Out of interest.

There is a term of phrase "like a ferrett up a drainpipe" to describe the kind of people who appear on Jeremy Kyle who breed like rabbits.

the question is this........

Do ferretts have an urge to run up drainpipes? and if so, what do ferrets like about drainpipes?

ferrets will run through tubes and pipes if they get a chance, think its because they are like rabbit burrows.

I'm going to try and come along. I love ferrets :)

Do ferrets make good pets? and can they mix with other animals?

Basically we have a gunea pig and so we wouldn't want the ferret to try and eat the gunea pig, or have sex with it. I'd imagine the ginea pig would get annoyed if another animal was forever trying to eat it.

We have a dog too, and he gets on well with the gunea pig.

Also, where is a good place to buy a ferret, and do they mix wel with other animals? thanks

They mix ok with other animals except rabbits, i wouldn't suggest buying a ferret rather would advise you to go to a rescue. you also need to do your research no rescue would re home to a first timer who has not done there home work. we run The Ferret Hutch Rescue. we currently have some ferrets available for adoption and will be at the event on Saturday armed with info and freebies. Come down on the day and we will have a chat.

Well we have done the ferret day in Sheffield and got £83.36 in donations. We`d like to thank the chantry who asked us to attend and also did a jumble. All the ferrets enjoyed it and even raced and everyone who came and chatted to us seemed happy and thaks to those who took leaflets ect . We hope you liked the day and enjoyed the day and nursing the ferrets and babies
