hi just wondered if anyone can help i've got a 10 week old staffy and all she want to do is chew and bite everything. Any ideas how to stop this or at least reduce it. i no she's a pup but want to do somthing about it now rather than later.:huh::confused:

That's what puppies do! But you can start to train her by telling her "no" and stopping her chewing anything she shouldn't. If she goes back to chewing it again, just keep removing her and saying "no", she'll get the message eventually. Get her plenty of toys of her own that she can chew, perhaps something like a Kong might be useful, I think you can get them for puppies.

If she's chewing furniture, you could try a spray - I've heard people recommend a Bitter Apple one. If she's chewing when you're out, then you might consider crating her, with plenty of toys, of course.

i agree with Dozy with the addition of when she is chewing something that she shouldnt stop her saying no but then give her 1 of her toys to play with and praise, good luck !
