I've been on several forum sites throughout my years online
And I might have found another one, in which to kill my time,
So I thought I'd introduce myself, and say hello to you,
And with any luck you'll like me, then I'll have something to do.
I don't intend to come across as desperate or pathetic,
But I thought I might stand out more if I tried to be poetic,
So I put together these few lines, to tell you who I am,
Then I can share my views with anyone who gives a damn.
Sheffield was my place of birth, but then I moved away,
A decade later I came back, and now I'm here to stay,
I am of course a geek (as some of you lot seem to be),
But I'll try to hide my nerdy side until you're used to me.
Thats about as much as I can conjure at this time
I apologise for these monosyllabic lazy rhymes,
I hope this geographical collective has a place,
For a nethead with no interest in facebook or myspace!
Hello everyone! I apparently joined this site ages ago but I never posted, and I figured that the time has come for me to announce my presence and begin the higher purpose that comprises wasting time talking to people on the internet. But at least this is a Sheffield forum, so there will be no blasted Americans...
I look forward to being a positive contributor to the forum (warning: "positive contribution" may include nothing more than bum jokes and ubergeekery). That is all. Bong.
