Hi, im really worried about Daisy.

Went to Newark show sunday and she was fine but later on that evening we noticed she was limping a little bit. Thought she was just tired so gave her some supper and put her to bed.

Yesterday Liam (my OH) let her outside for weewee's and shouted me to get dressed asap daisy needed the vets! She was covered in diareahh and was really hobbling, would only take 3 steps then had to sit down.

We took her straight down to PDSA, but was told that as my housing benefit hasn't been sorted out yet (just been made redundent) she wasn't eligible for treatment, she was given a anti-inflammitory injection and sent on our way.

She's still limping but not as bad today, im so worried she's only 7 months and I just don't know what to do, is limping a sign of something very serious?

Well what can i say about PDSA apart from in my opinion they are rubbish!

Took Daisy to a private vets, where she was looked over and was told she has torn her knee (most likely from repeatedly thowing herself off my raised flower bed) and has a small abcess on her back right paw pad.

It took her roughly 3 mins to diagnose this!

She now has a course of antibiotics and pain relief and hopefully on the mend.

I am sooooo mad that PDSA didn't look at her properly, the vet was rude and the staff were sarcastic, i honestly would not feel safe taking my girlie there ever again!
