I'm looking for a kind experienced person to ride and spend time with my 15.2hh American Standardbred mare. She is 14 years old with no vices and a lovely temperament. She is safe and obedient to ride but isn't a 'plodder' so would suit riders who prefer energetic horses with a bit of spark. Living out until October so no fixed hours or days necessary.

I haven't ridden for a while due to other commitments so she needs bringing back to fitness gradually. There is amazing off road hacking where she is kept and plenty of other people of all ages/abilities to ride out with. There is an outdoor school but it's not all-weather.

She is kept on a working farm with a very friendly relaxed atmosphere - if you prefer a spotless yard and forks neatly lined up in a row, this is probably not for you! No public transport links so access to a car required.

If you are able to contribute to costs then anything is appreciated but it's more important to me to find the right person.
