Roller Derby is spreading like wild fire across the UK and we have set up a team here in Sheffield! Anyone is welcome join, the only requirements are you must be over 18 and female. So if you're looking to meet new people, get fit, let out some aggression and have an awesome time please get in touch. Dont worry about if you havent skated before, we can help you learn.

Sheffield Roller Derby Needs You!

We practice every sunday at 3pm at Graves leisure center , bochum parkway, sheffield. anyone is welcome to come along to see what we do. if you want to join in on sunday practice , you will need your own roller skates (not blades) elbow and knee pads, wrist guards, helmet and mouth guard. we have some spare skates and pads so jus tlet us know what size you are and we may have a pair in your size.


To play roller derby you need to be female, but we also need coaches and refs so guys are more than welcome to come and be part of this fantastic sport, what guy wouldn't wanna boss a group of girls in short skirts and roller skates around

how do i join? and how much isit? me and my mate wuold love to take part xxx

we need men for refs and coaches but its all girls on the track in afraid. . if you want to come along to see what we do then youre more than welcome to come along to a sunday session to have a look. the first hour is for warm up and drills then we will be practicing the game from about 4. at the moment we have monthly fees of £12 or £4 per session but this will change when we find somewhere to practice in the week.

i dont think i understand what this is. i thought it was just like a skating group . could you explain what you actually do please

yeh it hurts like hell but its fun, and we skate on quads not blades. common, give it a go :)

ill come along sunday to watch at graves leisure centre , its only a 5 minute drive from my house. and ill have a look , it does seem like fun , just not too sure about the 'pain' bit lol. ill see. x

practice is cancelled his sunday because there is a big roller derby event on in london, but it resumes the week after. ill be away for 2 weeks but if you ask for pauline she'll have a chat with you :)
