i have heard that pole dancing really improves your fitness and posture, as well as toning your bums and legs. does anybody on here know of any clubs etc that teach pole dancing for basically a beginner, from scratch with no previous experience. many thanks in advance

Try Eve at http://www.butterflyfitnessstudio.com/ - she's lovely and very easy going and I'm sure would fit your needs nicely :)
I second that. Eve is a fantastic instructor, and the classes are brilliant! Hope to see you there soon!
how big are the classes?im totally new to it all so dont want large classes incase i make a fool of myself. im also 29, is that too old?
ps thanks for ur guys help, ive emailed the instructor. how much are the classes too?x
There are 6 poles, with maximum 2 to a pole, but generally there's 8-10 people per class. Classes are £7 for an hour, running on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. There's a pretty large age range, there's a few mothers and daughters that come together, and everyone is really friendly and encouraging! A fair few people have just started in the last couple of weeks, so you wont be alone!
Just be prepared for the aching muscles and the bruises! ;)
