Hi, I wonder if anyone would be able to tell me roughly how much it would cost to fit about 10 double plug sockets into a house in different rooms.
We are moving soon and will probably need some more. Thanks for any help in advance

We're having some work building work done and as part of that are having a few extra double sockets put in a couple of rooms. Our man's quoted £40 a socket if that's of any help.

Contact Johninit. He did ours. Did a great job.

Sounds about right for 1 or 2 sockets but for 10 I'd be looking to charge less than that, maybe. Depends whether you wanted them all surface mounted or chased and plastered and where they were, they could nearly all be simple or they could nearly all be a nightmare.

I'd like to cast my eye over the job for that many, chances are if the place is that under-socketted that it's an older installation and would probably need other things doing too.
