As you know Im a real new thick computer user. I nearly bought a mouse today, but where do i plug it in to my lap top ?There seems so may places where it might go. Have been told i will be better off with a mouse instead of the black square thing on my lap top. Will I be able to click and scroll better ?
Yep, the black square thing gets on my nerves, I carry an optical mouse around with the laptop so I don't feel the need to sling the thing across the room!
The mouse will plug in in one of 2 places, either the PS\2 port or the USB port. The PS\2 port is a small round one with six round holes and one rectangular one within it and the USB port is a small rectangular hole.
Yes it will be easier. I keep meaning to get one as my notebook only has one of those pimple things that predates your hi-tech square ;)
I would like an optic one though. I suspect using a traditional mouse in so many different locations is likely to see it getting gunked up quicker than normal
If you get a USB one it should fit your laptop nicely - those ports are easy to spot too

He He you laptop users - get a mouse if it makes things easier.
Then why not get a couple of speakers so you can hear your sounds better - then why not get a nice desk to put it all on
:hihi: :heyhey:
Just jealous, honestly. I wanna be wireless too :P

I mainly use the computer for browsing the internet. Once i had tried the laptop with a wireless connection, there was no going back
I do still have the desktop for backup though.
Watching TV without Broadband last week was frustrating.
We usually google all sorts of things that presenters get wrong or miss out :(
Top tip for watching '... Millionaire' too
Google it before they put it out to text :D
And DT... Headphones
