Kvdhns.exe, my firewall keeps poping up every 30 sec's saying kvdhns.exe is requesting access, iv'e turned it of in Msconfig and rebooted but its still requesting.
What is the program?.

google came up blank and ive been told in irc that that could be spelt wrong?

Tryed google myself came up blank,ive traced it back to its origin a few times and every time it has a different address, most of the time its in the states

have a look in your firewall / msconfig for more info?

i have a start up list but its in program alphabetical order not by task name, so is virtually impossible to find without looking through it one at a time.............sorry i have a life :)

You could try uploading it to http://virusscan.jotti.org/ to see whether it rings any alarm bells.

Might give some indication as to whether it's malicious or not.

Where is the file stored? The folder name (if it has one) might give you a company name or more details.

Sust it, It was logged in my msconfig 3 times, so unticked them all, virus checked it (ok), i think it may have been a back door for hackers.
The moral of the story is all ways have a firewall

and learn what files do what, how your puter works, have good uptodate virus protection, good spyware protection and have common sense when downloading.
