Someone started a thread on here recently offering 100 Gmail invites, (or somewhere around that amount I think), which I was looking for because I was after a couple of invites.

When are Google going to allow "normal" sign ups? There are that many invites out there that it's irrelevant in a way, but it is a tad inconvenient.

yup tiis irrelevent, there is that many people who can / have signed up

i think the point is they dont want millions officially signing up tho till its all sorted, features added and bugs zapped etc

I posted details how to create your own Gmail account in the 'missing' thread. I can't remember off hand how i did it though :suspect:

It was something to do with the Google desktop and selecting 'Create a Gmail account' in the options.

The one I remember was in this (Computer & Tech Chat) forum and was started by someone and said something like "This is the thread for Gmail invites, anyone offering\wanting invites post here".

Can't find it now, but I appear to have started another one!

I also have invites if ne 1 wants them.
