Dark Moomin 02-07-2009, 20:59 Check out www.theforbiddencorner.co.uk, I had a team building day here before and it was really good. Not sure how far it is from Sheffield tho, but I don't think its too bad. scottf 03-07-2009, 15:14 www.goape.co.uk but i wouldn't take the pregnant women!! chickywiggle 04-07-2009, 21:46 Just found this site.....http://www.eventus.co.uk/treasurehunt.asp The treasure hunt sounds fab and something the preganant women can join in with. SUGARPLUMKIN 05-07-2009, 05:34 Hi! You could go to Flamingo Land and pay £99 each to be a hands on zoo keeper for the day ath their zoo. If you want to wash the elephants, feed the geraffes, feed the penguins & seals fish by hand, etc & maybe hold a monkey or maybe you can even get to feed and swim with the dolphins from the dolphin shows they have. Theres a choice of two different options. Option 1 is where , as well as having contact with the animals and feeding them, you can also do everything, like mucking out, get your hands dirty, etc. Option 2 is where you just feed & play with the animals only, but dont do any muckin out, dirty stuff, etc. I think that you get to do this from 10am-5pm, then you can spend the evening on the theme park, swimming pool with waves & shoots, circus, dolphin show, lake with various boat rides, etc., shops, bars /cafes/resteraunts etc. Sounds good to me & suitable for pregnant women (except fpr the big rides and the odd thing here & their. It also has holiday homes to rent & a camp site attatched to it so you may even want to make a weekend of it You could camp out and have a bbq, & sing songs around a camp fire, etc. Thats what I would do. Kind regards Lisa xx almeaden 05-07-2009, 10:15 You could all go painballing, there is a really good place just outside the peak district.x almeaden 05-07-2009, 10:19 Sorry did not read the pregnant bit.x almeaden 05-07-2009, 10:20 Err I will have another think..... boutiquechoc 06-07-2009, 09:20 Thanks people, some good suggestions there! tas1 06-07-2009, 12:10 Team anti-natal class :) brianthedog 29-09-2009, 17:02 http://www.fpa.org.uk/? I was searching for team days and came across it...! Apparently, grouse shooting for a team from a bank is not acceptable anymore... nortonlees15 02-10-2009, 07:05 leave £200 behind the bar of a pub and let em get on with it, all these teambuilding things are a complete and utter waste of time, idle people dont suddenly come back from these pathetic outings as hard workers, they go as idle and come back as idle. faunagraphic 02-10-2009, 20:36 how about an art workshop in sheffield city, take away your own canvas home! |
