Hi all. Im 25 years old and a single parent to my 6 year old son. I am also a full time student at Sheffield Hallam University. I often find that i can not enjoy the social side of university due to lack of childcare when everyone else wants to go to the pubs or clubs. Therefore i decided to set up this thread in the hope that i could get chatting to other single parent students who also want to socialise but aren't really able to enjoy the regular "student life".

I wish you'd put this post up sooner! I'm a 26 year-old single parent to a 3 year-old and have just finished my degree (2:1 despite all the challenges!!!)

I know it's the summer hol's now but it'd still be great to meet up if you're still interested!
