Ah so it is going ahead - must have been 2 years since I first got told it was going to be a pool hall, thought they'd got bored and gone home.

Well thats what i thought, i know originally the store owners kicked up a big stink over it and i thought that scared them off. I was talking to Martin Chesworth about it a couple of weeks ago and he seemed pretty certain it was going ahead.

I really hope it will be a decent club, but like i said i really have my doubts.

It's a shame the Forum have lost the original plot.

yeah, it's going to have 10 or so original American pool tables (y'know - the massive ones), the whole plasma screen things, all that jazz.
think they're trying to make it really open, light and spacious and stuff.
might be alright.

Where the shops were upstairs, the Forum seems to have abandoned the "shopping emporium" idea now, not long before it's just a big tacky bar catering for WKD drinking students.
