Why are so many British men bald?

Not long back from my holiday in Cyprus, where most local men had a magnificent head of thick dark hair.

Tonight in Graves Park a small gaggle of men were watching some boys pkay football, all of them bald as coots.

Why so?

Perhaps it is related to the melanin hormone - do most hot-climate countries have a noticeable lack of bald men? Or is Cyprus unique in that regard?

Had they chosen to shave it or were they naturally bald? I think men look far better without any hair if they have lost most of it.

shaved heads in a hot country not good sunburn and all that ?

Im a constant head shaveing male and hate hair ? fancy hair is for posers or girls lol
