View Full Version : Gas Safe Registered Plumber Wanted
ikkiangel 29-06-2009, 10:14 Hi,
Have just bought my first house and have no idea how to reconnect the gas and get everything working. Someone has told me I need a gas safe registered plumber.
Basically I need the gas turning back on, the boiler checked and the central heating checked as we were told all the water was drained out when the property was repossed.
I also need a cooker in the kitchen and would like a dual fuel cooker fitting and there is a pipe to the back of the cooker area, but I have no idea whether or not this is a gas pipe.
If someone could recommend some people to call and get quotes would be much appreciated.
Also on a seperate note I need to fit an electric shower in the bathroom do I need a plumber an electrician or both to do this???
Micky ET 29-06-2009, 21:57 Ring me I can sort the Gas safe bit out and advise on the shower (you may be able to have one off boiler)
Thanks
Mike

Seen the prices.....obviously a cut goes to the website.
£75.00 plus 15% vat for a gas safety check.....and i bet thats for just 1 appliance..;)
Agree with the above..use a local tradesperson.

I can't see any problem with it.......it's done quite regulary on here. However, quite a few will not admit to it, so fair play to you  .
Be good if Des could post on here and provide some advice along with us 'old regulars'....;)
