I can barely believe I read that! We also "let them in" to become doctors, dentists and many other very valuable posts to help out our desperate little country where thousands of people queue to join a newly opened dentists surgery.

of coure you get criminals from all walks of life but why let them in here,if i wanted to go and work in australia i ned to prove i have a trade/skill they don't let any tom dick or harry in to scrounge off the state and commit crime..........when i say "these people" i mean criminals.

And look after patients in hospitals, and serve great food at 2am in the morning as well as work in all the places they do, beacuse some british would rather not work and stick to full time benifit fraud.

Like Kirky says its so easy to vet these people before they enter. i'm 100% behind anyone coming to the UK if they have a job to come too in the first place like doctors, dentists etc I was shocked by last nights Crimewatch that so many people on there where from east european :rant:

I watched crimewatch and was concerned by the number of European criminals that it covered.

I presume that these criminals are illegal, by the very nature of their activities, and of course it is worrying. I feel it was unwise to show the number of non "english" criminals at this very sensitive time.

some of the posts here do reflect that sensitivity

Yes so do I. I don't think we need any more stirring up of racism and hatred at the moment.
