Has anyone else in the S13 area noticed their water's discoloured tonight?

We've just been in touch with Yorkshire Water about it, and according to them a group of kids on the Manor managed to get hold of valve keys and opened a valve, releasing sediment into all our supplies :rant:

YW have told us it should have settled again by morning. I hope they flaming throw the book at the little darlings (although that's probably far too much to hope for) :mad:

Grrrr - it can damage your boiler, dishwasher and shower too :mad:

Which bit of S13 BTW? :(

We're on Woodthorpe, so I guess it's coming down the hill towards us. They didn't say how far it had spread so far, but she sounded harrassed according to my partner, so I suspect they're getting calls from other people. :(

It wouldn't bother me so much, especially at this time of night, but I've got to get stuff prepared for my 12 year old's Home Ec. class tomorrow and need water to do it...grrrr.

I've had enough excitement for tonight, and I need to be up early to try and get the boy's stuff done...if the water's back to normal!

Well yesterday morning and this morning our water (in Woodseats) was a bit brown when first running the cold taps. I don't this this is just confined to S13
