Personally I think the "magic" had gone once Michael Hutchence died, groups don't tend to recover without their lead singer, replacements always seem a bit bland. Apart from Iron Maiden tho', Bruce Dickinson replacing their original singer is a case in point, Maiden = Dickinson, pure and simple. Michael Hutchence has gone... and no matter how much avid fans will be disgusted at anything that is INXS without him... you cant deny the songs.. and the new guy actually does sound similar enough to keep old fans and to get new ones.
