Bad_Hair_Day 13-07-2005, 16:38 I've not seen it for a week or so, but it looked lovely when the continental market was set up last month. It was almost like being in a real European city! Especially with the sun shining! Marvellous! max 13-07-2005, 16:55 Originally posted by Bad_Hair_Day It was almost like being in a real European city! Especially with the sun shining! Marvellous! Last I heard Sheffield was both a city and in Europe.:D Rich 13-07-2005, 16:58 I was on Fargate on Monday and got stopped by at least 3 Market researchers.. WTF?! As if the hordes of Big Issue sellers aren't bad enough :loopy: And before anyone starts I know these people are just doing a job, like everyone else who works on Fargate such as Virgin employees for example, but why do they have to be so bossy? robbie 13-07-2005, 17:01 Originally posted by Rich I was on Fargate on Monday and got stopped by at least 3 Market researchers.. Used to have to put up with it every lunchtime. HotPhil 13-07-2005, 17:12 I was on Fargate on Monday and got stopped by at least 3 Market researchers. We call that the "Fargate Run" - can you make it from one end to the other without being stopped? It's a mighty challenge I can tell you! Many a lunchtime spent.... youwhatref 13-07-2005, 17:33 Originally posted by robbie I don't have a great deal of call to be around Fargate nowardays. Well done the council Sheffield are representing UK in 'Entente Florale' (European in Bloom) and the displays will have something to do with that. Although not seen, glad to see they are making an effort raine 13-07-2005, 18:19 Walked down Fargate today and I agree the floral displays were lovely, don't often get the chance to congratulate this council, well done! Fareast 13-07-2005, 18:23 Yes , Max , but Bad Hair Day said , "real" European city. |
