I'm have begun to learn illustrator and I am trying to export a file to a jpeg at 300dpi but a window pops up and states -

insufficient memory was available to complete the operation

Is there anything I can do? The original illustrator file may be large and 200dpi, how do I resample to 72dpi and make the image smaller as I,m not sure of the size?
