Did anyone see this?
What a lazy, fat, disgusting woman was she?
Laying in that bed with no flat sheet on it, just direct on the matress, uurrrggghh bet it stank! Feeding a baby wotsits for breakfast and fast food for tea. Not getting up while 12pm and leaving the baby in the cot alone until then, even though the baby was awak at like 8am. I really hope social services were taking note!
I saw that one too. She seemed to be a little better at the end of it though. I thought I was going to hate the woman from Rotherham, but I really really liked her.

I note at the end she was pregnant again, before she even learned how to take care of the first child she had though and was moved to a bigger house, well lets hope she keeps it clean and learns how to iron and clean up cat ****!
She looked like she was into doing that - let's hope it lasts. That baby of hers was lovely, considering how little time she spent with her. I'm surprised she got pregnant a second time to be honest with you, it takes some effort to spread your legs :hihi:
Seriously though, I hope she does turn it around as she's a lovely daughter, one on the way, a fiance who obviously adores her for some strange reason. She's a lot to be thankful for.

Oh yeah the baby was lovely.
I hope she takes a good look at herself and looses some weight, because she could hardly breath, if she wants to see her kinds grow up and set a good example to them she could do with loosing a good 5 stone.

That made me laugh about the flat sheet, I felt so sorry for the poor little soul left in her cot until midday just amusing herself and most likely with a full and sodden nappy. Her little face when she got to go to that ball pool/ slides thingy was so sad because you just knew when the cameras stopped rolling and all had settled down it would be the end of the fun and back to the cot for her.
Yeah did you see what she said "Oh she's bought me an ironing board uh"
I honestly don't know why anyone would want to totally embarrass themselfs on national tv like that?

i woas thinking the same thing about the social services........

So was I. As far as I'm aware the way she was treating that little girl was sheer neglect and social services like taking babies away from families where they consider they have been neglected. When all is said and done there was ample "proof" on the TV.
I feel really sorry for the new baby - I just don't know how she is going to be able to cope with two when she can;t even cope with one.
I am really surprised that social services haven't been hammering down the door to get at the child!

On channel4 +1 NOW!!
Bloomdido 26-06-2009, 22:07 Saw it on E4. Not watched TV in ages. Brought tears to my eyes!
laineyiow 26-06-2009, 22:11 I don't know what your thoughts are about social services but I'm surprised the family haven't been contacted by them since the "evidence" of neglect from this programme.
Yes I agree about all the above - she was a fat lazy so and so.
Wife swap tomorrow Sunday 28.06.09 - one of swappers is 'an acrobat from Sheffield' - I will be watching!
foxforcefive 29-06-2009, 17:37 Oh I watched this too and it really upset me, the little girl was absolultely adorable and happy, despite being neglected and fed on crap.
Her hubby/partner needs to grown some backbone, pampering to her all the time will only make her worse.
sTaGeWaLkEr 29-06-2009, 17:44 Vile creature. She needs to sort herself out.
The bloke needs to find his nads too.

I agree. I liked the Rotherham woman too and I thought she looked familiar.. althought maybe that was just cos I knew she was from Rotherham! Least it gave Rotherham a good name after what Jamie Oliver did to us.. wer'e not all lazy fat scrubbers (well apart from me heheh ).
We'll have less of that relost! :D
Is it from Yorkshire this series? The last one was a family from Sheffield? I wonder if they're on here? :suspect:
Glittertrash 01-07-2009, 01:10 I'm sure I saw the husband from this weeks one (the one with the athletic family) in town today. Haha.

I'm just going to watch it now.
Just finished watching this, though I nearly stopped it after about 9 minutes.
I'm reluctant to comment too much on a programme that's based on entertainment value, but I'm going to anyway :hihi:
The guy who was Georgina's Dad may have been a wet fish!. But, without him, I dread to think what that beautiful baby would be like. I was imagining what her [babys] life would be like if he [wetfish] was the same as her [wife], which I suspect is more common than people realise (I've seen it with my own eyes in some of the **** areas I've lived in).
One thought that crossed my mind whilst watching it, was the documentaries last month on how hard it is to adopt, yet lazy gets like G's Mum can have kids willy nilly, and funnily enough, Rotherham lass at the end mentioned fostering. I think they'd be good (based on the edited programme that we saw).
I think 'wet fish' (sorry I didn't catch names), just needed to put in place a further few brain cells in action, and hopefully even being a 'yesman' saw some sense in what Rotherham lass showed. To me, he seemed like a quite simple, but good man, working hard for his family.

The posts earlier about social services, was something that I was going to mention. Me personally, am sick of everything being 'someone else's fault or problem'. Our western society has created people like the Mum in the show. Everything in life seems to be someones elses fault, some people just don't seem to be, or feel that they are responsible for themselves and their kids. It riles me tbh.
Leaving a baby in a cot until 12 or 1pm, and wet, while she [Mum] lazes in bed infuriated me beyond belief.
