Did anyone see the Hot air Balloon come down near Wisewood last night???

Seemed to be dropping quite fast hope it landed somewhere safe as its quite built up around there

yeah, i saw it go past my house at longley anyway..

yeah went past longley park , saw it, used to come out years ago

I watched it get inflated in endcliffe park. Was quite interesting.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to be sailing in a balloon right now,
drifting on a cool breeze?

I paid for a balloon trip for a friend's 40th. birthday once. His wife and kids came along, holding the ropes until the organiser shouted to let go. The balloon rose surprisingly quickly. At which point his wife realised he'd still got the car keys on him! Too late! They were stranded for 2 hours until he landed and was ferried back to the launch site! :hihi:

It did fly very low and hovvered for a while over Wisewood, but seeing as everyone in it was waving (and smiling!) I think it's likely that they were locals. Hope so anyway!

i saw one when i was comming out from work at 8.30pm last night from northen general

i saw it clip the top of the ski slopes about 9pm plumit to the ground and explode into flames...everybody snowborded down to safety..not realy

it landed on the side of the ski slope last night

My lil bro saw one from our house in Stannington which overlooks the valley so it may be the same one.

Yes i did say this :rolleyes:. but you aso was intersted to come along.so dont :nono: shame me to be the bad on in this one.i have witness aswell if it get took to the big house.

It really freaked us out as it came over our house in Hillsborough at 8pm. It was so low over the roof we could see the people in the basket and hear them talking!! It gained a little hight as it went over the yard but suddenly dropped when it was near Hillsborough Corner.

My daughter had been in the park and say's it almost landed in the pond!!
