what it is ive got a bt voyeger broadband 2mb and mercury wireless router. Now what the problem is that ive manage to config it so internet doesn't cut out everytime, but I need to connect my Xbox to the router, but the router doesn't like my xbox connecting and I don't know what to do, I only know so little:confused:

OKay from my limited experience of Xbox's.

Firstly make sure that the router is setup as a DHCP server.

The when you go in the Xbox config try going for the auto detect options for the IP and DNS settings.

There are however a number of routers as you will be aware that just won't work with an Xbox

I think thats why because I set the default DHCP server on the bt modem, I'll give that a try and get back to you

Do you have a wireless bridge connected to the xbox or are you using an ethernet cable?

i have just installed a kob br100 router 2 my ntl modem 2 run 2 comp on the internet 2 no prevail it just says page cannot be desplayed on both.? its through ethernet bye the way any sudgestions as i now have 2 go back 2 using 1 comp through usb. :help: :help: :confused:
