Can anyone suggest some good places in and around Sheffield (underground or not) where there is a chilled atmosphere and maybe poetry and sound music

I know what ya thinkin. Best bet wold be E-man's night down at Trippets wine bar on Wednesdays - see seperate thread. I think Bukowskis on London Road has poetry nights... anyone know/been?

Other than that you'll have to look out for one-off events like Sarah Jones (Ninja Tunes) at Phonetics or put an Ursula Rucker CD on in your house, lie back and open a bottle of wine.
