Hi All

For anyone who knows the background to all of this......

I have just collected Domino from the vets following his eye operation and castration.

I would love to say "he looks better already", but I would be lying.
At the moment he looks terrible, bless him. The area around his eyes has been shaved and where the vet has removed part of his lower eyelid looks so, so sore. I feel so sorry for him but as Nigel (pets@home) just said to me......it might look bad now but his quality of life will be improved dramatically once he picks up.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who has shown concern, Nigel for rescuing him in the first place, and getting him groomed and cleaned up, and Jon for paying for the op.

I get the feeling that this weekend is going to be 'fun'. How do you tell a deaf dog to leave the 'blind' (not blind but you know what I mean) one alone??! it will be like hear no evil, see no evil here for a few days!

Right, off to scramble and egg for him!

Thanks all
Sarah & Domino....................and Poppy (she would be mortified if she thought I'd left her out!)

Hi Sarah, glad to hear he's doing well.I saw him earlier when I went to visit Ruby(my rabbit) at the vets. I hope he has a speedy recovery ans hope Poppy gives him a bit of space.

Hi
Poppy is being fairly good! Better than I expected but she still wants him to play. We are keeping them separate for now and Poppy will be sleeping upstairs tonight so he gets some peace!
He has just finished off some pasta and scrambled egg so at least he still has an apetite.

Ahh, they do look so poorly when they come back after an op, don't they?

Looks like you'll have your work cut out this weekend, but I'm sure he'll pick up soon and have a much better quality of life thanks to the op.
