I know the pound is a little inundated with newspapers at the moment and am wondering if the request for papers could be removed please? It would help free up some space at the pound I think. Many thanks. x JinxSta 19-06-2009, 17:49 That's great news. It looks great now it's up to date. I know the pound is a little inundated with newspapers at the moment and am wondering if the request for papers could be removed please? It would help free up some space at the pound I think. Many thanks. x Your right. The pound has plenty of newspapers now thanks to everyone so the request can safely be removed as I don't think they are being used as often now, only used for the very few small animals they look after sometimes. mummysaz21 19-06-2009, 19:23 oh my got that poor old dog got kicked out becouse she diden tlike new puppy, makes ya sick, and that noah, he is double of my new girl could be twins lol JinxSta 19-06-2009, 19:31 oh my got that poor old dog got kicked out becouse she diden tlike new puppy, makes ya sick, and that noah, he is double of my new girl could be twins lol It just shows you what does go on doesn't it. But at least these people weren't dishonest and did a better thing than chucking her out onto the streets like most people do with their "older" dogs. Noah he is soooo soooo good looking isn't he. Hopefully he will find the right home to spend the rest of his life! mummysaz21 19-06-2009, 19:34 did you see the pictures of sandy he is double of her except she has now got weight on her and i think around same age as we think sandy is nealy 2,although noah could do with some weight on him bless him he looks like a bag of bones JinxSta 19-06-2009, 19:45 Yeah looks like he has lots of muscle that needs building up too, so it makes him look even bonier. Spoke to the pound and all the skinny dogs get 2 meals a day but still, it's hard to get weight on dogs in that sort of environment. mummysaz21 19-06-2009, 19:50 i can imagine, my girl was in pound for a few weeks i think it was, and although she wasent skinny as such she has put loads of weight on just from being settled and nice home means such a lot and can change there life plus she had severe diarrea from being in the pound but they do there best with what they have i take my hat off to them, oooooo if i could rehome another i would realy think about him but i can i found that out by a puppy i had last night lol, im up to my limit, but ir ealy do hope he finds a home if hes anything like mine he will be a lovley dog just with a naughty independant streak lol JinxSta 19-06-2009, 19:53 Have him mummysaz hehe! He'll fit in well .. Better than a puppy :D. I'm sure his time will come soon to find his perfect home. Fingers crossed for him mummysaz21 19-06-2009, 20:58 lol im sure he would at the right time, but i stilhave a lot of work to do with sandy she pulls like mad on lead and can also have food aggression with other dogs that dare go near her bowl while eating lol, plus i have a 1 year old son so its just wrong timing, maybe if he had cropped up next year i would have had him lol he will be snapped up though i thinkxx Rainrescue 19-06-2009, 23:11 http://www.rainrescue.co.uk/sheffield.htm Link to pictures of dogs on the site We were wondering if anyone could think of a sponsor so we could advertise the website in a few newspapers - any ideas? |
