Hi all, Hoshi (said like oshe) is japanese for star, she is a cross American akita and GSD 8 weeks old arrived today :D she is here to be friends for our akita (as seen in my avatar) who is 14 years old (bless her) and suffers from arthritis. We wanted to get hoshi while Amozon is still alive so she is used to other dogs.

Well Amozon has not took to her at all (still time though), If Hoshi goes near here she growls or just moves away. All though on a good note Hoshi has he first jabs tomorrow and he second jabs and her micro chip next Friday. Can not wait to take her out down Hillsborough park.

She is so cute - dont worry about amozon, we have just got a puppy and it has took our female dog over a week to go anywhere near the pup - she reacted exactly the same, they will sort themselves out.

I'm sure they will get along fine. It will take a little while for her to adjust- a bit like a new baby coming home and you get a little jealousy from a sibling. Hoshi will be extremely playful and Amozon won't like it at first but she will probably bring new life to Amozon. They are both beautiful! Good luck and i'll look out for them in the park xx:)

I have to admit i have a bit of a fear of akitas after one pinned me against the wall but Hoshi is gorgeous :)
