Having 2 staffs myself i sympathise as they are quite a greedy breed, one would eat his own body weight of food if he could and still come back for more.

Do you feed him on dry this can sometimes help as it takes longer for them to eat it. We have tryed quite a few different foods but my old man is still always hungrey or would have you believe he was anyway.

i have a staffy cross and she never bloody stops lol, but she is much better on dry food than wet easier on her tummy aswell as when i rescued her at crimbo i had queit a few problems with her guts but on the same food everyday and dry now shes fab but still always hungry lol

My staff would eat tonnes of Butchers meat if allowed, I 'tend to regulate how much of that she has, then put dry biscuits down to munch on here and there and I think these fill her up more. Do you give yours 'human' treats? I found that when I used to give mine human treats; she would always be desperate for food, knowing that what we're having is obviously better than she was having. She has no human treats now except on rare occasions, so she knows that when hers is gone, it's gone. Now if she askes for food when there's nothing in her own bowl and I put her some biscuits in, she mainly goes and lays down and funnily enough forgets she's hungry then!
