Hi there everyone just a quick this and i truly hope someone can help.
My partner is preganant and has a real craving for the cheese sauce they sell in takeaways, does anyone know where i can purchase it from. any help would be greatly appreciated as the late night trips to the takeaway just for a pot of cheese sauce is wearing me out before work. many thanks.

butter and flour in a pan, mix together over a low heat to form a roux(is that spelt right?:suspect:) add milk, whisking all the time to prevent lumps, keep stirring over heat till it thickens, add grated cheese and salt and pepper. much better than the pkt stuff.:thumbsup:

Yeah it is spelled right, and with my pedants hat on, if you use a whisk your bechamel (white sauce) can go grey, you should really use a wooden spoon :)
