Just thought I would share my lucky day. This morning I was in Meadowhall trying on a dress I reluctantly want to buy for an evening wedding.

The dress was £40. As I hung my clothes on the peg in the changing room I noticed white paint on them!

The dressing room had been painted and the paint was still wet. It was only a bit on the bottom of my crop jeans and the assistant said it would wash off which I could see it would as I wet it.

Well, she apologised and let me have the £40 dress for nothing!

I couldn't believe it as I wasn't expecting anything at all as the paint will easily come off. Just goes to show you there are nice shop assistants out there. :thumbsup: :D

Cool... You'd better tell us which shop it was so we can all go and rub ourselves up against the changing room doors while trying on the most expensive garments we can find!!!

Yes Kirky I got the number the Conservatory is for a customer.

Unfortunately for all of you who want to dash off to Meadowhall rubbing yourself on the changing room walls - they shut the rooms down after I had been in.

Pity it wasn't a designer shop! Then again they probably wouldn't have been so generous!
