Actually its very good for all horses but specially useful if yours is grey or coloured.
Captain matey removes all poo and grass stains really easily and leaves their coat all soft and nice. Because its a kids no rinse bubble bath its very gentle on skin and hair. Mi horse is almost all white with a few chestnut bits and some black dots. His bum is completely pink and he looks dreadful most of the time.
I tried captain matey and its really good. You can use it neat on small patches but generally you dont need to. Put one capful in a bucket of water and apply it, make sure you hose it off throughly as all soap products can be very itchy if a residue is left in.
I also use dog shampoo from pet shop for his copiously thick and very greasy mane tail and feathers. Its the pink detangler one. Works a treat.
Now all I have to do is catch the bugger again and I can take him out and show him off before he gets covered in poo again.
