I only want insurance for my stuff (ie. the contents of one room and a TV in the lounge). Is this possible? Especially important as this (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=52164&highlight=house+insurance) is very near me. JBee 01-08-2005, 05:37 PM Endsleigh do the best student insurance, because they are one of the few companies who will insure the possessions of individuals in a shared house. They have a Sheffield office too, think it's on Eccy Road. Try the phone book  JBee 01-08-2005, 05:39 PM Originally posted by gruff phone around a few's your best bet... ...but i've been told more than once to avoid endsleigh even though they claim to specialise in dealing with students PS - Just spotted this comment. In response I would say that I've been with Endsleigh for a few years now for my personal possessions, both as a student and a young professional, and have found them to be very reasonable in price. Have never needed to make a claim though. 1Man&hisBMW 26-09-2005, 11:44 PM Try LetProtector - do a google search! d1zzyw1zzy 28-09-2005, 11:41 AM Hi there Are you working part time? Because if so you may be able to get insurance much cheaper with a non-student company. I was with Endsleigh as an undergrad for a year, and their charges were through the roof! I got myself a part-time job, switched to another insurer as a "data entry clerk", and saved over 60% on my bill! However, I was living in a flat with just my (fellow student) boyfriend - dunno if this makes a difference. K xx You are viewing an archive. To view the actual thread click here: Sheffield Forum | |
