Since I installed Internet Explorer 6 around a week ago I have been getting an error message. It's at the final stage of starting up and it says Explorer caused an invalid page fault in module unknown at 0000:00000003. It tells me the program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. I then have to restart my computer.

Can anybody tell me what to do to remedy this as it's worrying me a bit?

try installing it again? over itself?

install firefox instead? :)

It didn't take as long as it's going to take you to connect to the internet now though Nicola :wink:
I would recommend Firefox as well but if IE6 is what you want, a reinstall might be the best way forward.
Not sure which Operating System your using but you could also try running sfc /scannow from your 'Run' box.
