This happens at any time when Im using the internet. It will come up with a message saying an error has occurred and has to close windows. Anybody any idea why this keeps happening and what can I do to stop it?

Have you cleared all temp internet folders and ran your anti-virus software without any problems ???....that usually clears up any internet explorer errors for me!

I am not a computer expert though!!

sounds like you got a virus preventing ie running, it can be seen two ways, good in that you can get and use firefox, bad in the sense that you have (opssibly) a virus.

Can you be a little more specific with the wording of the error messages ?

May not be a virus but something as simple as a corrupt registry entry
