Hi, I'm a song writer looking for a female singer, with the aim of forming a gigging band with original songs.

It would be great to find a singer who is confident and stylish, and also open and warm toward a crowd. (eg: Estelle, Karen O, Roisin Murphy, Santogold, La Roux, MIA, Amy W...)

The band will be left-field pop; challenging and cheeky, using the best of electro/soul/rock/r'n'b/whatever to move the people (and ourselves).

Like I said at the top, the aim is to form a gigging band with original songs.
I'm not interested in covering other people's songs, when its so much more fun to write your own.
When I hear a great song I think; 'How can I write something like that?'
