We are planning to go into the countryside, however there appears to be Sheep jay walking in the countryside, they aren't confined to fields.
Sheep tend to wander in places where there are public footpaths.
Are sheep aggresive, and can they cause serious injury? if we just carried on walking will they ignore us?
We are bringing a few people over from all over the country to walk in the peaks, one of the walkers is welsh, and so hopefully the sheep won't panic/become aggresive if they were to hear his welsh accent.

Sheep are just wolves in Sheep's clothing mostly. Look for the zips!
The only thing to worry about with the sheep in the peak district is them trying to nick your sarnies when you stop for lunch. :)

Just keep an eye on the Welsh walker.............Hanging back.

The countryside is their home and we have to respect that. As to are sheep aggresive, you have not been in the countryside very often to even ask that question, they will keep clear of you, unless they have young and they will let you know verbaly, but will not harm you.
As I am in the North of Scotland the most agressive animal is a bird the common gull and if they have young they will attack if disturbed.
So sheep on walk will not bother you

.
Avoid eye contact with sheep. If you want to be absolutely sure you are safe, bring a deranged pit bull terrier with you.

It's not the sheep you have to watch out for. No one ever suspects the butterfly!
