as you may be aware, the policing of local communities is changing with plans to create 10 local policing teams.

the thinking behind this change is to provide a more pro active, holistic approach to crime, allowing for more community engagement.

the event on 20th july 9:30am-2pm will provide you with an opportunity to find out more and potentially influence how this change will work in practice.

VCF reps from sheffield first for safety, tony green and karl barton and members of the community safety team will also be taking part.

I have heard this is going to be held at the Methodist Church off Bawtry Road in Tinsley. Should be a crowd puller with whats been going on lately.
