For anyone seeking a rental property, stay clear of the Sheffield office of Brownhill Bateman. Diane and Julie and virtually useless. They don't return phone calls, and simply don't seem interested in letting the properties they are advertising.
They messed my partner and I around for 3 weeks. When we reported them to one of the partners at the Derby office, low and behold, we got a return phone call from Diane within the hour - suddenly our offer had been declined by the property owner. We seriously doubt the owner even knew we had filled out all the paperwork to let the property.

All that without charging ridiculous fees and service charges. Brownhill Bateman took 100 quid to supposedly process our paperwork and then expected an additional 97 quid as their fee for doing so. That crew is a joke, and a bad one at that.
